HackOvators Series
The Hackovators is a series of events organised to identify early-stage innovative startups and ideas that can leverage Technology, Science, and Business Models innovation to transform
Bharat across various sectors - Governance, Healthcare, Cleantech,
Mobility (and logistics), and Agriculture.
Hackovators are innovators who are passionate about solving Bharat problems and are developing cost-effective hacks for these problems. Hackovators may be either startups, researchers, students, or intrapreneurs.
The last Hackovator event was focused on the Governance Sector, and the next planned event is for the Healthcare Sector.

Upcoming Event - Healthcare Sector Startups
Cost of healthcare is high in India and one of the primary reason is delayed detection and treatment. As part of this event, we plan to look for startups and ideas that can help reduce the cost of healthcare.

Cost of healthcare can be reduced through various interventions including awareness, prevention, nutrition, early screening, early diagnostics, early treatment and right treatment first time.

Intro Note
Hackavotar Series Feb 2025 - Data Analysis and Usage for the Governance Sector
The Governance Sector performance depends on the quality of data and analytics techniques for decision making. Data comes from multiple sources and in multiple formats making analysis difficult.
We are looking for startups that have deep technical and demonstrated capability in atleast one of these areas:
Predictive Modeling
Predictive model for estimation of household financial attributes like income, expenditure based on household characteristics
Contextual Natural Language Search
Context based search within pdfs and other type of documents and data bases.
Data Analysis and Codification
Real time code and category assignation of inputs during a survey
Extraction of data from documents of various formats including pdfs, images etc in tables, word format etc. to improve ease of analysis. Data could be in multiple Indian languages.
Analysis of sales data across retailers to compute price of a consumption basket
Satellite imagery analysis of natural resources

Selected startups will receive funding up to Rs 25 Lakhs for a pilot project and product development support from potential customers
