Our Story
We were born out of a voluntary effort to support startups at FITT at IIT Delhi. The voluntary mentoring program was initiated in 2018 as an outcome of an MoU between two leading incubators, NSRCEL of IIM Bangalore and FITT of IIT Delhi. The program attracted a large number of alumni mentors of the two institutes.
This alumni mentoring effort was formalized in 2019 as i4 Mentors Foundation, a not-for-profit model, to continue the spirit of unbiased advice and support. We have helped over 500 startups since then.
The founders' aspirations and values are key to the success of a venture, and founders must get the required support. We aim to contribute to the economic and social well-being of the nation through successful startups and founders.
Our Services
- Open Mentoring Session - Starter session that seeks to validate Business Model and recommends the Next steps (every month at 11am on 4th Saturday or on request).
- Structured Mentoring Program - Mentors help fine-tune the Business Model, Validate key Processes, enhance the Investor Pitch and enable Industry Access.
- Seed and Growth Funding - Our network of Angel Investors and Family Offices provide funding support. We follow a rigourous evaluation process to ensure startups receive right valuation and investors' interests are protected.
- Startup Cohort Events - We conduct industry sector based events to impact pressing problems and support emerging trends.
How to Join?
We welcome you to join our OPEN Menotring session that is open to all startups. Its held on the 4th Saturday of every month at 11am, where you may present business concept and support required to the Mentors Board.
- Based on start-ups presentation, Mentors volunteer to help. Effectively mentors self select themselves to help a start-up.
- Start-up and Mentors work with each other based on their mutual convenience
- Startup progress is reviewed every month by the entire board of i4 mentors
- Startups seeking funding are referred to the evaluation team for investment.
